the story of the stapler

At work, we have this silver stapler with an unconventional look. Well, unconventional for this modern time, at least. Either this stapler has been around for too long, or it's just the unique shape that makes it hard to be recognized by patrons. Not only one or two people that came up to the desk and asked whether we have stapler or not after glancing around the table where the stapler actually sits. And once we told them that the stapler is sitting on the table, they were surprised. The most common comment that I've heard is "Oh, I thought that was a hole-puncher." :D
